hoekmarkt.com levert ovengedroogd haardhout bij u thuis! Beukenhout is bij uitstek een populaire houtsoort vanwege de duurzaamheid. Beuken brandt namelijk langzaam op, terwijl u ondertussen geniet van een prachtig vlammenspel met heerlijke warmte!
Langzame verbranding met beukenhout
Beuken is een houtsoort die heel hard is. Maak de kachel of haard goed warm met wat aanmaakblokjes en aanmaakhout, voeg wat blokken toe en u zult genieten van een heerlijk vuurtje! Beuken geeft namelijk een mooi vlammenspel, maar heeft tegelijkertijd een langzame verbranding. Dit maakt beuken heel duurzaam in gebruik! De blokken in deze pallet hebben een standaardlengte van ongeveer 30 á 33 centimeter en zijn geschikt voor de grotere kachels en haarden.

Half a bag of logs in my small fireplace and the logs still haven’t caught fire. A very small bag for over £20 but then I should have known better to buy (poor-quality) firewood on Amazon.Avoid

Ten logs, nine of them half branches about 3 inches wide, one huge. They arrived this morning and four hours later, half of them have been burned. They spit like anything, but I grant they burn hot and clean. However, by tonight they will have all gone, which makes for some pretty expensive heat. We spent just over half this on some logs from the supermarket and they lasted four days and were not startlingly different when it came to ash, heat and burn quality. Very disappointing. Sadly, neither of us is up to manhandling a flat bed load of logs any more, so we have to buy piecemeal. Just not these. A fair bag of logs for a fair price must exist out there – the search continues! Excuse the milk in the pictures – it is for comparison. Also for comparison, the supermarket logs we bought for eight quid filled three of the cubes shown.

This is horrible wood, looks nothing like the pictures, smells When it burns, and is full of splinters so makes it a lain to handle. Aviid Avoid Avoid

lit well, and burned HOT! Used about 3 an hour in our smoker, for the 1st 3 hours of an 8 hour cook. Worth the extra few pence…

I brought a 30l bag and some of the prices were no bigger than kindling! 3 sections of bark which burn super quick. In the picture the bottom row was already there so you can see how little I got. At the super market I have brought bags the same size for £8 so save your money!

Nice thick chunky logs, 3/4 were a large size, the rest were small/medium thickness. About 8-10 logs per sack. Dry as a bone. All logs in perfect condition. Burned beautifully and for a good amount of time. Gave off loads of heat. As the logs burned down, they kept their shape, continued to give off plenty of heat. After about 90 mins to 2hrs, the logs started to break down (as expected) the embers continued to retain their glow and continued to kick off heat. I purchased 2 bags of logs and they lasted us around 6-7 hours. Basically the whole evening/night. We threw them on unhurriedly throughout the night. Fire pit still had warmth and embers in the morning. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be re-purchasing. Very happy.
