Het is een harde, sterke maar duurzame houtsoort. Door de trage verbranding geeft het een warme vlam. Bijkomend voordeel is dat er weinig rook vrijkomt. Blokken eiken van 30 tot 33 centimeter zijn geschikt voor grotere openhaarden en kachels.
Direct stoken
Ovengedroogd betekent dat u direct kunt stoken. In de oven gedroogde blokken haardhout bevatten minder dan 18% vocht. Hierdoor is er een schone ontbranding, wat vervuiling van het rookkanaal voorkomt. Eikenhout dat goed droog is, geeft een levendig en knisperend vlammenspel. Bent u op zoek naar een rustiger vlammenspel? Dan raden wij essenhout aan.

Nothing to dislike. Delivered on time with respect for property.

Although this hardwood was very dry and burnt well, there were many small pieces of oak which burnt toooo quickly. The picture in Amazon shows large pieces which burn more slowly that why I wanted it as a fill in before a big delivery. Disappointed the net of logs will hardly last one evening.

Good quality logs that smelt lovely in my wood burner and gave off a good heat. However you do not get many logs so works out an expensive option

Ten logs, nine of them half branches about 3 inches wide, one huge. They arrived this morning and four hours later, half of them have been burned. They spit like anything, but I grant they burn hot and clean. However, by tonight they will have all gone, which makes for some pretty expensive heat. We spent just over half this on some logs from the supermarket and they lasted four days and were not startlingly different when it came to ash, heat and burn quality. Very disappointing. Sadly, neither of us is up to manhandling a flat bed load of logs any more, so we have to buy piecemeal. Just not these. A fair bag of logs for a fair price must exist out there – the search continues! Excuse the milk in the pictures – it is for comparison. Also for comparison, the supermarket logs we bought for eight quid filled three of the cubes shown.

Logs themselves are fine but I’d have got 3 x the quantity of hardwood logs from our local garden centre. These lasted an evening. Disappointed, but lesson learned.

Overpriced and far to much packaging- logs inside nets, inside plastic bags, inside giant cardboard box, stuffed with a ridiculous amount of paper! Felt like I was single handedly destroying the rainforests!

Consistently sized logs, quick to ignite, reasonably long lasting and good heat.But they seem very expensive.

Nasses Holz, viel zu große Stücke. In 3 von 4 Kartons fast nur Nadelholz. In einem Karton Buchenholz, aber nur Stücke mit kleinem Durchmesser. Bin total enttäuscht für den Preis so mieses Holz erhalten zu haben. Keine Empfehlung.Inzwischen hat mir der Lieferant eine Ersatzlieferung über 2 Pakete zugesagt. Der Kontakt war zügig und problemlos. Nun warte ich auf die Lieferung. Werde das Ergebnis dann hier ergänzen.2 Ersatzkartons wurden geliefert nach mehrfacher Aufforderung.
